 well my father bought simon when he was a baby from a pet store back home, when my father had simon i went to there house and when i seen simon for the first time i couldn't believe what i was seeing, he was the most breath taking bird i had seen i couldn't believe that my father had him. i said to my father that i loved him and i wanted him. my father had always known from the first day i meet simon that i wanted and loved him something bad... at the time my husband was stationed in kansas so we were living there about 10 hours away i missed seeing simon so bad i would have drove whenever and how ever long it took for me to get home to my parents home just to see him. when we went home for the holidays i always found myself with simon playing with him teaching him new words and things to say messing with him till the day we had to return back home i hated that part of all my trips and the time i got to spend with simon. over time my parents always told me what simon was doing and saying and even my name..it always brought tears to my eyes talking with them because i wanted simon so so bad.....we moved to ky. where my husband is now stationed i got kai my other macaw and still told my parents that i really wanted simon bad. they were talking about moving down to this area and my mother said maybe you can have him for now till we move down there and just see what my father says about simon living with me...i got the call from my parents that i had been waiting and wanting for a long time come and get simon so we can get moved and i asked that question can i keep him...my mother said i don't know will have to see so i couldn't wait to make that 12 hour drive to go and get him i did it and together simon and i made that 12 hour ride back down to ky. and i have been able to keep simon with me there is nothing i ever wanted so bad then simon. and there is not enough thanks that i can say or do to show my parents how grateful i am that they believed in me and allowed me to take over simons life. i wouldn't want it any other way and now i live everyday with many smiles and wonderful days that my two babies give me and show me everyday. i wouldn't ever do my two babies wrong as long as i live and there isn't enough thanks that i can give that i can keep and care for simon to my parents. i'm so very happy everyday that i have simon i can't stop doing what ever for him and kai its great to mess and play with them everyday.... |
