Photo shoot.
Mom said she wants to take some pictures of me. Get some new updated ones, since my last molt left me with more color. I have two colors on my head. The darker orange you see in these here. But I also have a light orange above that now.Come visit me, Neechi.

Another Bird???
The kid that lives in my flock had a birthday yesterday. She got this blu&gold makaw. It isn't real, but might as well be. It talks, it dances, looks real, plays games, is programable with certian frazes, and so much more. Kinda jelous I am.Come visit me, Neechi.

Oiy!!!
Mom took me on an adventure. We went to a whole different town. I met her best friend and her family. Long ride but I got to have grapes and meet interesting people. Still not liking kids though.Come visit me, Neechi.

shhh!!!
my mommys birthday is tomorrow 3/22. she will be 30. She is happy about it though. I'm just glad she remembered that birds live a life time and got me at the right age so we will grow old together.

Happy Hatch Day to Me!!!

what a cutie he is:) I have only met one other jardine who thought he was a cat. lol no kidding, my friend had him and many other birds but also had cats and dogs, hammy loved one of the cats and would most of the time hang out with her, she loved him too:) Come visit me, Piglet, Prissy & Mikey.

My bird is nice. ALL birds go through a nippy faze and Neechi has gone, and going through one. He has never drawn blood. He has a "game" he plays and was taught by the non bird people in the house. He will make like he is going to step up, and then slams his beak down like he is gonne bite. However, never actualy bites, but the tip of a birds beak is still painful. I have learned to read him, and he is learning that that game is not acceptable. All birds will bite if they get the reaction desired. I know it is easier said than done, but if you play it bland and give a firm "NO", they get the hint. All I can say about the J is be steady but firm during the terible twos and the horrible threes. Thank God Neechi will be 4 soon. He is more pleasant than onery, but he likes the reactions he gets when he is onery. Come visit me, Neechi.

He is a sweety. Bandito is the only other Jardine I have met. He is a black wing jardine. Neechi is a lesser Jardine. But I have heard and seen pictures of two other jardines in my area, the rest are abroad. A good site to learn about this breed is www.oldworldaviaries.com which is where I got my little neechiman.
