Oh my goodness you're gorgeous! What a soft eye and you appear to be in such great health and happiness. I'm so grateful you're in a wonderful home. I would love to venture to a larger breed of bird someday and I'm convinced that when I do, it will be a rescue. I just don't understand how people can toss these wonderful blessings aside the way they do. My birds have more personality than most people I know. The best of everything to you Blue! What a beautiful face!!! I can't understand people who abuse these birds. Spend around $1500 on the bird, cage, accesaries, and food, then abuse them. I am glad to see people who rescue these, God's creatures. Come visit me, Merlin.

What a great looking bird!! I'm a rescue mommy myself and the blue and gold is one bird I would love to have, but I have a mini-macaw who makes enough noise along with my amazon and another macaw would literally drive my sulphur crest cockatoo through the roof. What a beautiful girl. I can not for the life of me understand how someone can abuse and/or abandon one of these intelligent, chock-full-of-personality humans with feathers. I have a rescued bird with a bad wing of my own so I know how they are even more special because of their past. Come visit me, Gus.
