 Willis departed our world on 7/27/10 after a terrible encounter with my mother's dog. He lifted the hearts of so many and will be missed greatly. May he brighten those in heaven now. We love you Willis!
He was given to me by a friend. He was called Bridget at the time and I just couldn't call my little boy by a girl's name. His new boy name was easy to decide. He has such a wonderful vocabulary and kept entertaining me with new phrases, I constantly kept asking him "what you talking about?" So, I named him Willis after the old tv show "different strokes".. |

Sunny walks by the Rainbow Bridge and notices
a small Peach-Fronted Conure standing alone, looking out at the vast sky of clouds with the earth off in the distance. She walks up to the little conure and puts her wing around him. "Hi Willis, I'm Sunny. I've been here a year but I've not met you before". Sunny looks down at the earth and continues, "It's tough, isn't it? Missing your family so much. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of my flock mates and my dad. I miss them so much. Are any of your flock mates up here? I have a lot. Our flock goes back to the 70s. Come with me. I'd like you to meet them".
