I CAN FLY !!!! I'm a BIG GIRL now.
I am now 12 weeks old and I flew for the first time last night, of course I crash landed and I broke momma's crystal flower that played music but I can FLY and I didnt get hurt. I am such a BIG GIRL now. I learned how to eat sunflower and pumpkin seeds and my pellets, or at least a few of them before I have fun throwing them to the bottom of my little cage. Momma doesnt like it when I throw them but its FUN. I got my first Big Girl Shower yesterday and momma put my harness on me and took me outside to get warm. I was scared at first but then I flapped my wings and moved my feet and got my feet tangled in my harness and got mad because I couldnt move them. LOL it was fun once momma untangled my feet and took that harness off of me. I just kept flapping my wings faster and faster and bam....there I was in the air for a few seconds. Oh My Gosh!
You are georgeous!!!! And doing so well, I have a lot of new feathers now, Mommy and Daddy tell me they're really pretty, but I hate being cleaned up, just like normal little boy. I love to just lay on Daddy's chest and cuddle and wrap my wings around Mommy and Daddy when they're feeding me, I've even learned that I can use my beak to climb so many put me in a much bigger container so that I don't fall down and hurt myself. I'm growing fast and I get a new feather everyday.
And you are doing wonderfully! Your a beautiful girl!! Here's a vote for ya!

I am now 8 weeks old and having a blast
I learned how to step up, how to perch and more importantly how to bite down into a pellet and all in just the last few days. Isnt that cool ? Momma has been letting me play on the floor and puts me in a baby cage everyday now so I can get stronger and used to the stuff outside on my brooder. At first I was scared but now I am having fun looking around and beaking everything. I am a little puzzled by the cockatoos tho. They used to look at me and chatter and now they just fluff up and open their crest feathers like they are afraid of me. I am sure you will get a fitting name as soon as you grow just a little bit. We hope it will be just as pretty as the rest of your family's. It is good to know that your skin mommy will be taking care of your feedings. Our mommy has never done that. Aint I a pretty baby birdie birdie
