I and my older brother Kizzie were given to my current owner after our parents had four (4) of us. We were born down in North Carolina and drove up to NYC along the Blue Ridge Parkway (as much as we could) on Memorial Day weekend of 2005..

Active within 869 Days Hi! My name is Miss Dallas I am a Cockatiel from Astoria, NY. Miss D 8 years old F Cockatiel I absolutely love love love hard-boiled eggs and shredded carrots!! I also love lettuce. ..mmmmmmmmmm!! I like to hang out on top of the door in the bedroom and in the tree in the living room. I absolutely abhor to be in my cage!! In fact, the first thing I do in the morning is get my owner attention (aka wake her up) to get me outta my cage!! And after on sit on her shoulder for a while...and take a shower with her and my brother Kizzie, I am content for the rest of the day...as long as there is food in my bowl!! I like that she got us a huge cage!! And that she feeds us really delicious food. She really loves us, too. I don't like to be put back in my cage so I'll try to fly around the room (even though I'm clipped) and make my owner late for work!!. Cockatiels rule!!.

Hi Miss Dallas Audie from Brooklyn, N.Y. here. I see that you're from Astoria out in Queens. My mom lived in Southeast Queens for 22 years before moving back to Brooklyn, now 14 & 1/2 years. I see in your profile that you don't like being in your cage and you'll fly and make your owner late for work chasing you around. Now that is not a good idea. You don't want her to get fired for arriving at work late because of you, do you? Be nice and stay in your cage while your owner is at work. Besides, it's for your safety.
