Hello Cicero
Thanks for the flyby Cicero. Zach had some extended fly time outside his cage yesterday while Mom and Dad changed all his toys around and cleaned his cage. He got lots of scritches behind his neck and sat on Dad's shoulder. He got a new tent snuggly which he loves at night.

Hi Cicero, I'm so glad you stopped by. Your story brought me to tears. It must have been really hard to leave your first parents, who loved and took good care of you (or you wouldn't have lived for 20 years with them)and then be treated so badly. It's awful how many of us big birds have been neglected and abused. I'm very lucky because my Mom got me from a Doctor and his wife who'd only had me 6 months,they bought me from a pet store but they didn't neglect me. I guess they just didn't know what they were getting in to with a big bird and wanted to get rid of me. Other then being caught in the wild, my life has been great. My flock, on the other hand have a history like you with lots of pain. I'm spoiled like you and my poor flock are just as spoiled. Aren't we luck to have found such wonderful homes?
I hope we can be friends especially since we both are such handsome and mature Double Yellow Heads. Stop by soon.
