Hi!
I'm so very sorry for your loss (both of them). We also had a Parrotlet a few years ago, Perry. He also died when he was only about 5 yrs. old and we don't know what happened either. My name is Oz and I'm a Rose Breasted Cockatoo. My Mommy is my 3rd owner and she says that this is my Forever Home. I'm glad cause I like it here. She also wants to know if I know that I'm a Cockatoo cause I'm sweet and very quiet. What does she mean by that? Anyway, I hope Mikey and me can be Friends. My Prissy
Unfortunately I lost my beautiful little Prissy 2 weeks ago. She died suddenly. We dont know what she died from, she was 5 years old. SHe is so missed:(

Wow , yeah we never experienced a tornado either , closest one is down the street a few miles on US1 no one was killed thank God. We saw the damages though, yeah pretty scary for sure. So sad that you really got shook up like that and to bite mommy oh boy hee hee I have been known to bite too when I am scared of something else or someone near us I do not like , and I don't mean to. That is called displaced agression. I Am sure you still love your mommy. Sounds like you are daddys little girl though :) Me; I bite daddy, I am a momma's boy.
And for Mikey screaming, I bet he was scared too and that must of made your parents nervous and sad for him. Thank you so much zazoo:) Mommy says she has never been in a tornado before and hopes she never is again. It was scarey for me, and I was mad cause it woke me up, and threw me out of the cage and my bed, and I couldn't find Mommy, then I heard Daddy calling me and I knew they were ok, Mikey was yelling and yelling, but I was the cool one, but had to bite Mommy hehehehe, just giving her what for:) Well I got a new cage out of it.
