Since you are local I just thought I would mention:
Cheeky came from a pet store but PeeWee was adopted from M.A.R.S (Melbourne Avian Rescue Sanctuary). If you are not familiar with them, try to visit sometime. They are usually open on Saturday as well as a couple of days a week. Check their facebook page for opening information:

They do wing & beak clipping, boarding, birdie boot camp & more plus the owner is always happy to answer questions and give advice to fellow bird owners.

Howdy Slate!
I had to come visit all of Goosey's brothers and sisters. My mommy use to have a love bird with a bright red beak. Her name was fuzzy because that is all she had...she would pluck her feathers. Mom said that was okay with her because she was still beautiful. My mom loves lovebirds but my dad says they are too noisey. I don't think my daddy likes himself. he he he! He is not a birdie person like mom...maybe that is why I bite him...oh, now wait...I bite mom, too. Oops! Anyway, I am glad I came to meet you. Your sister Goosey and your mom sure give my mom lots of helpful pointers. You sure are lucky to have them. It was nice to meet you.Come visit me, Echo, Tootles, Kiwi & Moose E. Moose.

HI Slate and the gang; I voted for you guys earlier in the day. :) AW So sad to hear that Cappy got hurt during his surprise flight, wow thank God there was no access out. Poor thing :( YEah time for wing trim . That must be so neat to be able to be out on that porch. we don't have one yet, too expensive. Mommy was not able to have a porch or screen room put in when she bought the place. Hopefully some day. Sounds like fun. And so it's your mommys birthday today? COOL!> Happy birthday mommy! !!!! Hey there Slate; Yeah I bet your chirps can't Gooseys' words , I beleive it :) And YES we love living so close to nasa. My mommy's parents (grandma and Grandpa) visit us every spring from Canada and they always miss the space shuttle launches. Now they are coming for March 23rd so we are hoping they get to see a launch. Mommy goes to Merritt Island to view, it's free and good for pics :) And get to see the manitees while there too. Mommy wishes she could get right close to the launch but she can never find anyone who wants to go with her. Thanks, my mommy is feeling better today but it's a tough to shake off. she's only had two colds in 5 years since we moved here, so not too bad. When we lived up north she was sick all the time. Yeah I think she bragged too much about not ever being sick lately and them temps dropping down and staying down and windy brr brr I know. WOW, Oh yeah about that ROCKET, You guys have a cool dad!!!! We'd love a backstage pass to a launch hee hee. Mommy loved it. So you guys missed it; well tell him we watched if for ya. But she only thought of her camera when it was too late. so got no pic but atleast we didn't miss it hee hee.
