 Thor's original owner (Marilyn) lived in florida and was an absolute bird lover. She is the one who got our family addicted to birds. After the tornado hit florida a few years ago, she took in many parrots from people fleeing florida. She then grew sick and had to give up her birds. My family drove to florida and picked up 18 parrots and one very distressed cat...that was one noisy car ride back. We found homes for many of the birds, but I kept Thor as he was Marilyns actually pet and very beloved. Since then Thor has joined my husband, kids, and dogs in our crazy zoo of a family.. |
