Merry Christmas Butters!!
WOW! Are we EVER having a white Christmas! A white Christmas BLIZZARD!! We have almost 20 inches of snow and it's not supposed to stop until SUNDAY! WHEW!! It sure is great to be stuck at home with mommy though, especially over Christmas! I got to take an especially long shower today and now I get to blog to all my BC friends! and then tomorrow....PRESENTS!!! WOO HOO!! Butters in love

Do not pass go....
Yesterday my friend and I had a board game night. After watching our first game of monopoly Butters decided she'd got it figured out and that my friend needed some help! She than assisted us with repositioning hotels, sorting (and reshaping) the money, and pooping on the propereties she deemed worthless. Butters at Grandmabirds
Butters and Corby are staying at my mom's house while I'm out of town. I'm spending the first few days there with them so they get used to it. Last night Butters started doing her "I want to go to bed" yell, and after each screech my mom's bird juliette would say "shut up dumb bird"!Come visit me, Butters, Sarge, juliette, corby & chip.

what a picky eater!!
Butters has gotten so picky about trying new foods as she gets older! I always praise them when they try new "treats", Corby is pretty open to new stuff, but Butters will stick her hed in the dish a little and just pretend she tried it to trick me into praising her too!Come visit me, Butters, Sarge, juliette, corby & chip.

Wow! You live really close to us! Not even 50 miles away!! Do you know where New London is? Well, we're about 20 miles north of Willmar right on Highway 23, so it's a straight shot from Waite Park! Good transition

Butter's new home
I got Butters a HUGE new cage this weekend at a garage sale! I've been wanting to get her something bigger for awhile now because I now have the space, and this one was only 10 bucks! I've set it up across the room and put some of her toys in it so she can start getting used to it. She doesn't seem to believe me when I tell her it's going to be her new home though!Come visit me, Butters, Sarge, juliette, corby & chip.

Princess Butters
I call Butters "my little princess" because she does everything so daintily! Her favorite toys are anything shiny, and she plays with them very daintily, so unlike the other cockatiels I know! She even eats daintliy, never digs in like my mom's cockatiel Juliette.Come visit me, Butters, Sarge, juliette, corby & chip.

Butters is on Harrisons now...
I've been feeding Butters Zupreem pellets since I got her, but my vet has been suggesting I switch to Harrison's for a long time. I never really thought there would be any difference, but I decided to switch her over because my vet sells Harrisons and I'm trying to spend less money at big pet stores (read the book "Of Parrots and People" by Mira Tweti if you haven't all ready!). Butters wasn't crazy about the switch at first, but now she's taken to it and her feathers have never looked so good! I can't believe it, she looks SO SOFT and beautiful! It's amazing just switching brands can have such an effect!Come visit me, Butters, Sarge, juliette, corby & chip.

You're quite a knockout! Thanks for stopping by. And the vote. Makes me feel real welcome. Mom took me into the bathroom when she took her shower and Aramina came too. I'm amazed how Aramina just jumps right in there!! I've never had anyone take me in with them....at least I don't remember. The last couple of years I wasn't allowed out of my cage which was okay with those two boys (shudder. Now mom keeps my cage open all day. I can go on the floor or whatever I want. she makes sure I can climb up in my cage too. I like it here. Sorry, I'm just so happy to have all these great things happening to me all at one time. Fresh fruits and veggies, almonds and popcorn. only the soft part so I don't get stuff caught in my throat.
Come see me again and maybe I won't be so overwhelmed.

Howdy Butters!
Thanks for welcoming me to the channel. I am so excited to be part of a new flock and so excited to make new friends here on the channel. Mom bough me a new cage and some new toys. I have a really great toy with wooden blocks and a bell on it. I love to play with bells. Mom thinks I am silly because I like to sit with my bell on my head.
