 Thomas had a budgie that died, and he was very sad. Dad called Mom at work and said, "Tom is in the school counselor's office. He is very sad his budgie died. Please go find another bird right now!" Mom came to Adventures in Birds and spent two whole hours looking at, holding, and talking to all the birds to find the best, tamest one. I just kept walking up her arm, getting right up to her face, and peeping until she said, "Well, obviously, it has to be you!". |

I LOVE sunflower seeds! And popcorn and millet!
 I like to walk around on Mom and Dad's bed, then climb up on someone for a nap.
 Being petted the wrong way and not being able to reach the popcorn bowl!
 They adore me. Mom is always making up songs and stories about me.
 I throw bits of pellets into Mom & Dad's bed. For a while, I would beg and squawk like a baby whenever I saw their 14-year old son, Thomas..
 Once upon a time there was a little Peeper-pie
And everyone could tell she was a very special guy
With feathers of gray and feathers of white,
Everybody loved her all day and all night!.

Cures for stinky poo?
Of all the birds in my flock, I have the stinkiest poo. Mom has taken me to an avian vet specialist, and there's nothing wrong with me; I just have unbelievably stinky poo. My family loves me and plays with me just the same---in fact, I'm kind of the favorite---but they sure would like it if my little problem could be relieved. Dad put up more pits again. 6 of us now. The older ones are starting to open there eyes. Dad had to hand feed the smalest one this morning. It was not fed buy the parents. Tha Quak babys.
