 We went to our breeder and he took us into the back room where he keeps birds that need a home, he calls them "free loaders". I was brought in after the mother of my previous owner couldn't take care of me anymore because her husband was really sick. I lived with them for 18 years. I started singing and my mom came in a few more times and we bonded, so she took me home. She knew my feet weren't working well. But she gave me lots and lots of toys and perches and now I travel way too well!! I find trouble.. |

Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. Wonderful Boo, always glad to hear that a feathered person found a lovely family to take good care of. It's always great to interact with others in the family and showing them that you are the oldest feathered one, with also a really good humor sens.

So glad you have found a wonderful home Boo. One of my family member's nickname is Boo, but she's a 17 yo human. Jamie and I say "bye bye" whenever someone is getting ready to leave too... isn't it great how we just "know"! Great pictures too! How DID you get so wet from that little tiny dish????? Boo! You got it right when you said to "respect the old lady". In answer to your question to Hannibal, no he doesn't really interact with the others, but he does like to hang out on Grettas cage, where he can see everyone and everything in the aviary, in addition to looking through the rest of the main floor ie. living room, and kitchen. He really doesn't need to play with anyone, but forages around on the floor and loves to fly back and forth, wrecking havoc with the Toos! UGH! Hi Boo, welcome to birdchannel. You are a cute girl and do not look your age. I am soooooo glad your new Mommy got you. I have alot of toys too AND I also say by to my Mommy and know when to. I ring the phone too and do the amazon strut and them sounds . I love my Daddy but prefer Mommy. I will not bite him if he gives me a treat.
