 My human and I met over a year before I went home with her. I was at a bird rescue and was supposed to always live there. My previous human didn't want me moving from house to house to house. No one knows my real age or how many homes I may have had. When I got depressed and lethargic, the owner of the rescue thought it would be best to adopt me out for more socialization, even if it was just on a foster basis. The humans I went home with fell in love with me and decided I will never go anywhere else. I am a happier and funnier and more active bird than they ever knew me to be before. I have other birds to imitate and talk with and I am on a really good diet to help me be healthy and live a long life.. |

Hi Gris-Gris, ( Love the story about your name) My Mom wants an African Grey very bad but Dad said not right now.( we just bought a new house) We have 5 birds at my house, the lovebirds didn't get a webpage yet( Mom needs to get good pic. they don't hold still she said) So maybe some day we will have a African Grey like you and that will be it.
