Mum went into Parrot Safari (www.parrot-saf- ari.com)to get my sibling food and was inquiring what to keep in mind for purchasing a rescue feathered sibling. It happened that one of the ladies is pregnant and I got either a little jealous or my old mom smelled different. I began to get nasty. Then my old mom changed shifts so her time was less for me. So my new mum came in to visit and took me home. We seemed to bond instantly and she is helping me behave a little better when it comes to being territorial about my cage and food. I am also learning to tolerate my new feathered sibling!! He is such an adolescent!!!! I just can't help but roll my eyes..

Active within 1173 Days Hi! My name is Kashi I am a Quaker from Chester, NH. Kash, Kash-eeeeeeeee, Lil old man, Mr Piggie, Lil Fatty..... 6 years old M Quaker FOOD! Anything my beak can get on! Plus pasta, cake, whatever mum is eating~Chirp Chirp~ On top of my cage or activity center or mum's shoulder while she drives. Watch mum take a nap as my brother sleeps in her sweatshirt.... When you disturb my sleep when in bed or try to take me off the food dish! Ohhh I try to bite but I am getting slowly better as I hate when mum is mad at me...Chirp Chirp.... She encourages me to get out of "My Old Ways" so I try new things and loves me even though I have some habits that I am going to try to lose. I love to sit on any perch and look as if I am trying to catch the wind. Mum thought I was having some type of disorder but just realized I am being "whacky". I like whistle like seeing someone attractive walk by and purr like a cat.... "Birds of a feather. ....Chirp Chirp".

Hi Kashi Are you named after the cereal? I love Kashi cereal (puffed Kashi) and momma loves almost all the Kashi products. Are you interested in learning to play baseball? Some of the birds here on BirdChannel play baseball. The Senegal team played the Cockatoo team and won. They are playing the Amazon team now. I am hoping I can have a Quaker team to play sometime after the Senegal/Amazon series. We Quakers are playful, smart and scrappy, so I am sure we can win over the Senegals. It is all done with numbers. Let me know if you are interested. Norman (Senegal from NM) is the captain of the Senegal team, and you can learn alot about BirdChannel baseball by reading his blog.
