 MAXI IS NOW AN ANGEL AT THE RAINBOW BRIDGE. HE DIED TRAGICLY TODAY. HATCHED AUG 25, 1992; DIED MARCH 14, 2010. HE WILL BE VERY MUCH MISSED ESPECIALLY HIS MORNING TALKING.

BOTW 2/4-2/10/08 ...Hi everyone, got some great news to share. I was entered into a bird show this weekend and I won an honorable mention for looking so good for my age. The judge was very impressed by how good I looked for being almost 16yrs old. She thought I was only about 4yrs of age, WOW! Mom will post a pic of me with my ribbon when she gets it uploaded onto the computer. Hopefully by next week.......When the last of our three parakeets died, we waited a year before getting our next bird. We researched types and decided that a cockatiel would fit our lifestyle and budget. We talked to our vet who took care of our keets about anyone having a cockatiel for sale. We did not want to go trough a petstore again. An employee who worked for the vet just happened to have 5 baby tiels that just hatched, all were spoken for except one. So we put our name on the list. We called every week for updates on how the tiels were progressing. At 10 weeks time we got the call saying the tiels were ready to go to their adoptive homes. We were the first there so we got our choice of the 5 baby tiels. My mom wanted a male tiel. So on Oct 10th, 1992 Maxi came home. He is now a senior bird after 15 1/2yrs. Vet says he is in good health.

Morning Angel Maxi, from Angel Christy
A note to commemorate you passing, you shall never be forgotten my Angel friend! Today the BC world is a much less brighter, we have lost one of our beautiful shining lights! Our lovely Ms Bindi has been called to the Rainbow Bridge, her tiny little body no longer had the strength to heal itself! Her passing yesterday brought back all the bitter memories of Christine and her fight for life! Our painful loss was Heavens gain and we feel so bad for our dear aunt Cindy and Pico, our prayers will be with them as we ask our Lord to accept her little soul into his kingdom of Heaven! Skittles, Bailey, Christy, Lil' Peeps, Turk, and Mozart are waiting for her with open wings! Love to all in your home, see ya tomorrow...
