 My cage mate, Widget, seemed like she needed more than human companionship. They brought me home to be her buddy, that's why they named me Buddy. We had to be in separate cages for a long time because we didn't like each other. But we like each other now. Humans are still our favorites though.. |

Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. Buddy Update
Buddy sees my husband as flock leader. I am just his sweet slave. He usually lunges to nip me if I try to get him out of the cage. He is fine if he is on top of his cage. Well, I have to get him out of his sleeping cage. My husband has been standing next to me in the morning and telling Buddy, "No" and fluffing up at him. It finally worked the other day. My husband and I "fluffed ourselves up" at him and he has not attempted to beak me since. :-)Come visit me, Widget, Coco, Buddy & Jardi.

MY BABY BROTHER, AN AFRICAN GREY, / NEEDS A VOTE FROM HIS FRIENDS EVERYDAY/ TO HELP HIM WIN A WONDERFUL CAGE,/ THAT WOULD LAST HIM FOR YEARS UNTIL RIPE OLD AGE.
