 I had ordered a blue-headed Pionus from the bird store in fall of '07. I waited for spring for the breeding season, but the blue-headeds just were not doing their jobs this year. Finally, at the end of May, the owner of the bird store went to another breeder and got me this little bronze-winged baby. I visited her 4 times a week for a month until she was weaned and could come home!. |

Hi pretty BW Pionus lady, we are returning your vote with a short note, we are in fact lucky to have such a caring and lovin parronts, and we would just like to say that our dad has met and come to know hundreds of loving parrot people over the years, but he said anybody would be very hardpressed to find a more loving, caring, dedicated, and totally commited bird keeper than Eureka's mom, he said she is a very top of the pile type person! May we suggest that you go out on the BC and introduce yourself to other birdies, and then you'll never be more than a click away from great friendship, advice, and love. Some of our favorites are Eureka's flock, Rainbow and Kelly's Flock, and Romeo, CoCo, and Smokey!
These are all outstanding parrots and parronts, and if you want to, you can tell them Jen Lynn and Christy sent you to say hi. We gotta go, but we'll squawk at you next time through your area...

Hey, Starbuck! Thanks for coming by, you pretty "relative"! We are looking forward to seeing more of your pictures! As for my white "speckles"... er, not exactly. The only way to get those with age is to live with a Quaker!!! My Quaker cagemate/girlfriend is a featherplucker (herself) and an overpreener (me). She can't help it -- my vet says Quakers are often obsessive-compulsive -- but she really loves me a lot and I love her too, so I don't mind not being quite as beautiful as I was when mom got me. You should retain your own lovely blue head! We went over and looked at your two cute siblings. Do you like the IRN and the cockatiel? Do they like you? My mom originally got me as company for her Jenday, and he HATED me!!! He attacked me on sight, whenever he saw me. But the feisty little Quaker next door fell in love with mild-mannered me -- the last combo my mom expected! Here's a vote for you.
