Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. Hello. Thanks for visiting me. So you dont like your mom huh. I dont like my dad. I start trying to bite him the minute he walks over to me. I get used to other people after a little while to where they can pet me through the cage. Not dad though. He can't get near me without me trying to attack him. He steals my mom away from me. Do you not like your mom for that reason. or do you not like her cause you like your bird friend so much? Come visit me, Chester.

We never was socialiced, well, how could we, living in a dark roon most our lives. But we're getting better, Bobo even starts 'dancing' when he's seeing mom and gets really close to her. Hi Blueberry Muffin. You have a really cool name and your feathers are soooo blue. My mom used to have 3 budgies way before me and my sibs came along. I have heard stories about them. Petey was a blue and white budgie that was very intelligent and had a game for every toy in his cage I've been told. He died at age 4 1/2 yrs of liver disease and kidney tumor. The other 2 budgies were Sydney and Sunni Bunni. Thanks for stopping in. I'm sorry that you don't like to be stick trained. Our parrolet doesn't like it either, so my mom just pulls her sleve over her hand and picks her up when she is being a brat! Have you tried food as an incentive? It came naturally for our conure, Peepers. He just stepped right up. I am pillow trained! When I'm bing naughty, instead of a stick, my mom puts a pillow close to me and I step up on it! I'm afriad of sticks myself. Kinda weird huh? But hey, it works!

I don't know what to make of Sam, really. One thing he's learned to do is when I come up to his cage he bites the cage bars until I stroke his beak and he closes his eyes... He used to try to bite me, so we're making progress! Come visit me, Tedi, Sam, Sky *RIP* & Wind.

In answer to your question, when I got Pickles, I already had a lovebird named Peaches. I had known an Amazon named Pickles and liked the name. Turned out well, she's a little on the sour side! Oh guess yes I had put that in my fav treats. Egg food is also available for breeding small birds and wild birds do that too.
