 We had already adopted a Cockatiel that bonded immediately with my husband. We were getting food for her one day, and I found Dusty at the store while we were there. She came over to the glass and looked at me. I asked to hold her, and she was pretty content with me from the start.. |

I am a Green-Cheeked Conure from Yakima, WA.

Tortilla, popcorn, banana, carrot, peapods, green beans, and anything I can get my beak on.
 In Jenn's hair, on the couch, on top of my cage, and in the sink, for a bath (sanatized and plugged of course).
 When my Jenn leaves me behind.
When Piper (a cockatiel) invades the top of my cage.
Being left alone when I know my family is home.
 She lets me play in her hair, and taste what she's eating if it's safe. She always sends John and Candi over for dinner if I'm gonna be alone for a while. Sometimes I even get to go to their house for vacation!
 I quack like a duck.
Gets down low and bounces on my feet.
Drop toys against the side of my cage to wake up my humans.
Biting any fingers that sneak up on me..
 Come and pick me up.... I dare you :).

Welcome to the BC! We're so glad you are here! Let me introduce everyone in my flock: I'm Huey, a Sun Conure and I just turned 1 year old, Zebe my brother is an Indian Ring-neck and he just turned 15 last Tuesday, Ellie is 9 and she's a Harlequin Macaw, and Suzie is only 4 months old and she's a little bugdie! We all love making new firends, so I hope you stop by and visit us very soon! The BC is one great big birdie family.
