 I was breeding cockatiels. I had wonderful parents here that were VERY good mommy and daddy birds. But I wanted to hand raise a clutch. So i took Flower and his sister Weebird from them and raised them. I love them both very much. Unfortunately, for a reason mysterious to me, Weebird died. I found her one morning, she just looked like she fell over. :( But I still have him and he is happy and witty as ever. It was very sad because he knew his sister's name. And he would call Weebird all the time. Made me cry almost every time. And still from time to time, he will call her again. We still love her tho. ;o). |

Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. Hi Flower, I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your sib Weebird. My sib, Digger also passed away 1 1/2yrs ago very suddenly and without warning. We still grieve his loss.
