This is Nikki again. Thanks for the vote.. I am returning the favor! As for the talking, I am pretty much the only talker in my flock (well, Parker spends all day looking in the mirror saying "pretty Parker Parrot" but that's all she ever talks about.. so vain!). Like yourself, I love to make big smacking kisses and I love "peek-a-boo" so much, that I've actually started playing it all by myself! When mom is busy I try to get her attention by climbing under a blanket or towel and saying, "where's Nikki?".. if she doesn't answer right away, I poke my head out and yell, "peek-a-boo!". This always makes mommy laugh and then she usually stops what she's doing and comes to play with me. Boy do I have her wrapped around my finger! heh heh heh... Long lost cousin??
Hello Tonks! My name is Nikita and I am new to the BC. Yesterday, my mom let my flockmates Barney & Freddy surf the site looking for other Duskies. Then she let my BFF Parker Parrot say hello to all the other Blue Crowns. And now it's MY turn! But finding Nanday/Sun Conure hybrids is a lot harder to do! I noticed in your photo that you looked a lot like me, so I am assuming we are of the same "mix" no? I love you photo gallery. If you speed up the pictures you'd have time lapse photography with you morphing from the cute pink bundle to the beautiful conure you are now. Would you be able to help me? Hello From Bowdon Jct.Ga.
YAHOOO!!!!! Mama is starting her vacation today. We get her for a whole week and she isn't going anywhere this year. She can't stand the thought of leaving us.Hee hee. She don't trust anyone to watch us properly.....Today Mama broke down and bought some of those Nutra Berries and Rosey, Jazzy and Niah thought they were great, But as usual Bongo won't even try them......We joind a new site called Peopleand parrots and found a site for rescue birds called second chance and Mamas heart was broken. there is a cockatoo that had a hole in its stomach and they fixed it and she has all her feathers now. She will live there forever and not be adopted out. Mama said if she ever gets another bird then she wants to adopt and not get one from the pet store. There are so many that need homes and there are a bunch of Cockatoos and This makes Mama angry, But alot of people think they want one and then find out after the fact what is involved and don't want the responsibility.. how much fun
one of the kids that helps out for the holidays got a sun conure--the breeder let him come visit and take pics --but would not let it go home till it was eating on its own. the owner is like a new papa--what a hoot.
