 I went to the pet shop one day and a nice man introduced me to Romey, said he was the best cockatiel in the store. I had no idea about this type of bird. I chose Julietta, his first wife (who was wonderful) and it just started from there! Romeo came to us knowing how to "step up". All his babies are fed by him until 3 weeks of age when we start adding baby bird food just to get them super-accustome- d to humans. Romeo lets us take the babies out of the nesting box without complaint, he trusts us.. |

Hi! My name is Romeo & flock
I am a Cockatiel from sao paulo, Intl.
 We call him Romey, Romer, Romeo, he is very noble and prefers Romeo. His second wife is named Penelope, we call her Pen-Pen. Romeo is a traditional tiel with a lutino mutation and Penny is a lutino female. They make wonderful babies and are perfect parents!

They will only accept a dry mix of pellets and seeds, LOTS of cooked brown rice and broccoli. Other than the popcorn, of course, and at breeding time white bread, preferably very soft like Wonderbread! And lots of fresh water. That is ALL.
 Our tiels, Romey & Penny, their son Abe & Marie-Louisa (lutino M and white F), their granddaughter Royale (pearl pied) and Tom (traditional with lutino mutation) and the elders, Lady Jane (white) and Valentino (white with light gray back markings) have two large cages but they like to share our big sofa with us, preferably eating popcorn!
 He has alot of responsibility keeping the whole flock in line, when the cats try to interfere with any of the birds, Romeo has to come to their rescue
 Mama kisses me on my sweet grey belly. All the other birds kiss her on the lips but she understands that I have to maintain my dignity! She also taught me how to talk and say "Romey is a good birdy" and "I love you!" She takes us everywhere, we have an amazing lifestyle. Penny and I were so glad when she kept Abe, our son (he looked like Abe Lincoln as a chick with muttonchops growing in!) and we are so happy she brought our granddaughter to join our flock. All my kids and grandkids have my long perfect tail!
 He loves to sit on my shoulder when we are driving to our beach house, better yet he likes to sit on the steering wheel and "drive" the car..
