the story makes me want to cry. these birds are just like people. I hope she is not traumatized. she is beautiful. she is a double yellow. they are the smartest of the amazons. does she talk? I love her, I can imagine how much you love her. you are blessed to have her. lucky you. I wanted a double yellow when I found my amazon, a baby not yet weined. he is three. and as love would have it...........come see us so we can get aquainted.........bird stuff. tee-hee....bouy and his mommy, and everytime i come in expect a vote!Come visit me, Bouy, BIGhugS.

LOVE YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL DOUBLE YELLOWHEADED AMAZON. HE HAD LIVE A VERY LONG LIFE. THAT IS WONDERFUL. I HAVE A DOUBLE YELLOWHEADED AMAZON MALE THAT I GOT A LITTLE WHILE BACK AND HE IS ONLY 7YRS OLD. HE LOVES HIS NEW CAGE. THE CAGE HE CAME IN WAS JUST TO SMALL IN MY VIEWS SO I GOT HIM A BIG ONE. NOW HE PLAYS AND CLIMBS ALL OVER HIS CAGE, WHERE BEFORE HE WOULD JUST SIT IN IT UNTIL YOU LET HIM OUT. HE TALKS ALL THE TIME AND LOVES PEOPLE BUT WOULD RATHER JUST SIT AND TALK TO THEM MORE SO THEN THEM TOUCHING HIM. BUT HE IS GETTING USE TO OTHERS. I THINK I AM HIS FIFTH OWNER. BUT HE WILL LIVE OUT HIS LIFE WITH ME. LOVE IS A BEAUTIFUL BOY. I KNOW YOU ARE VERY PROUD.
