Mommy had been eyeing me and my clutchmate at the bird store for a couple of weeks. Mommy was a little put off by my size, and because I was just a baby I didnt perch well. Mommy was used to little Athena the Senegal and had heard so many bad things about amazons. Mommy did so much reading up on me, or at least the little amount there is on Mealy's on the internet. She decided to go to the store and if the Mealy's were still there to get one...there I was, my clutchmate was gone. Mommy took me home that day and we have been inseperable ever since..

Active within 2061 Days Hi! My name is Hercules (Mealy Amazon) I am an Amazon from Mount Laurel, NJ. Sweety-weety 7 years old M Amazon I absolutely love blueberries and an occasional pizza crust. My favorite place to be is on my mommy's arm when she is in bed taking a nap, I nap right with her. I hate when anyone tries to sweep up anything with the broom, one day I will get the broom!! I love when she rubs my bald spots that all mealy's have on my neck, near my jaw. I also love when she lays me on my back and says "Im gonna get you" and I love that she loves me :) I say alot of stuff, and I know if I say "mommy loves me" she will come pick me up :). "You know I am too cute and you just can not resist me!".

Mealy Sub-Species Just to distinguish between my Mealy's...Hercules is an Amazona Farinosa Farinosa or Mealy Amazon and Frankie and Hermes are Amazona Farinosa Virenticeps or Costa Rican Mealy Amazons.
