Mama thinks I will forget my love for Jazzy now that we are getting one of my own kind. I don't see it happening. Maybe Bongo will fall in love with her. Hee hee and then I can have Jazzy. Hee hee hee. We are looking at African names since we are African decent. Here are a few and their meanings.Dayo (joy arrives), Imani(Faith),Mchumba(swee- theart),Monifa(I am lucky), Samanya(The unknown one), Subira(Patience) and Zuri(beautiful). We have other names also and some have benn suggesstions ffrom Our Bird Channel friends. Talia, Sophie,Amber, Sierra, Tinkerbell,Lily,Clare,Hop- e. and Cleopatra.. WE still haven't brought our new Fibling home but we will soon. Mama took her some food that she will be eating when she come home. we are already taking her off the seed diet she had been on. She still don't have a name. Our skin sisters have their own Ideas. jessica said to call her Kelly but Bongos old Mama was named Kelly and it might confuse him. Sare said Leah but Mama don't want her name to Rhyme with Niahs. Niah and Leah...Not. Well we will see. Thank you for seeing Roseys Video. Now she thinks she is a star hee hee hee.
We have some news. Mama got a call at work today and we are getting a new flock memeber. We don't know her name but she is a female Senagal. Niah has a girl at last. Hee hee hee. It will be a month before they actually meet because she will need to be in quaritine. We are so excited and can't wait. Bongo had to move in with Jazzy so she could have his cage. They get along good now and hardly ever fight anymore. But he is mad for loosing his own space. His cage is a breeded cage. We heard she isn't human friendly beacuse she is a breeder bird but mama will try to work with her. We will see. We were wondering why Mama was sanatizing that cage so good. Congo are a medium sized bird. You should go to the petstore and buy a grey owners handbook. If the petstore don't have one then you can order it online. It will help you prepare for your new baby and know what to expect. There are also some websites you can visit if you can't get a book. I always research the type of bird before I decide to purchase or adopt one. Too many people get a bird and don't know what they are in for and the bird gets rehomed real soon. hey Yes Sunshines wings are clipped but she can still fly a little when she gets spooked she usually flutters about and then comes right back to me, its quite funny to watch and it scares the crap out of my cats.
